EDFA’S Bridging Borders

The European Digital Finance Association (EDFA) hosted the first session of Bridging Borders, a new biannual forum bringing together fintech innovators and Europe’s National Competent Authorities around one table.

For the first time, 10 NCAs, the European Commission, several national associations and fintech founders openly exchanged on the real obstacles that slow down cross-border scaling:
- AML/KYC inconsistencies
- PSD2 API performance
- Diverging authorisation processes
- Access to credit data
… the kind of issues companies face every day, but rarely get to discuss with all regulators at once.
