Exciting Times at Money20/20
Money20/20 ended with great success, being a community and a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights and drive innovation. Our team was represented by Raf De Kimpe, Regina Piffaferio, Ioana Duca and Semih Ersoy who engaged in conferences, met key industry players, and seized numerous opportunities.
What an amazing edition with insightful and brilliantly curated content, alongside a lively exhibition. It was a non-stop success. Congradulations to Tracey Davies (Byers), Scarlett Sieber, Suzy Pallett, Ian Horne and the team!
This year’s Money20/20 Europe, under the theme “Create the Future,” spotlighted four key areas shaping finance: Digital DNA, Embedded Intelligence, Governance 2.0, and the Future of Money. From digital identity and trust to the rise of agentic AI, discussions centered on how technology is driving hyper-personalisation, smarter processes, and responsible innovation. Open banking, Pay-by-Bank, and digital currencies took center stage, alongside debates on ethical AI and evolvinga fundamental shift in the industry where innovation, inclusion, and security converge to redefine how financial services are built, delivered, and experienced across Europe and beyond.
We were also excited to reconnect with our esteemed members at Money20/20, visiting familiar faces like Toon Vanagt, Alessandra Guion, Niklas Sandqvist, Robert Masse, the Paynovate team, Andras Rung, Maria Amidi-Nouri, the DLA Piper team, Nicolas Kalokyris, Joris Latui, the Intuitech team, Theodora Lau, Balint Kis, Mate Berczy, Peter Keresztes, The Connector team, Koen Marcel K Vanderhoydonk, the ByQwest team, Benjamin Beeckmans.

EU Networking Event of 20/25: A Great Success!
For its 5th edition, the European Networking Event, organised by Fintech Belgium, Holland Fintech, Scottish Development International, Fintech Latvia, ICEX and Copenhagen Fintech, with the support of Invest in Holland, Paynovate, UK Government and XIMEDES was a great success! This unique gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and fintech enthusiasts from around the world has become a cornerstone event in the fintech calendar.
Held at TNW - The Next Web City, the event saw the participation of over 160 attendees from the fintech scene, creating a vibrant and dynamic networking opportunity. The night was filled with delicious food, drinks, and an excellent vibe, making it an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Connecting with our friends from the EU and beyond was truly inspiring. The fintech community continues to grow, driven by collaboration and innovation. We are excited about the future of financial services and the opportunities ahead!
It was truly a pleasure meeting so many of you in the fintech community over the past days. Connecting with such a diverse group of bright, driven, and forward-thinking individuals has been both inspiring and energizing. The level of innovation, passion, and collaboration I witnessed reinforces my belief that we are part of a transformative era for financial services.
